ERA-CAREERS is supported by Future Systems Hub and is committed to safeguarding your privacy when you communicate with us via email, telephone, the contact form available on our website, and our social media channels (LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, Bluesky—hereafter referred to as “Social Media Channels”) or interact with us at fairs and events. Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?

1.1 Your personal data are processed by Future Systems Hub, the dissemination and communication partner of the ERA-CAREERS project. You can contact us via email at info@eracareers-project.eu. Future Systems Hub’s address is Dositeja Obradovića 8, Novi Sad, Serbia. 1.2 Only Future Systems Hub staff working on the ERA-CAREERS project are allowed to process the personal information. Other project partners will be able to access specific data only if the purpose is specified and consent is given by users in advance. For surveys run by different ERA-CAREERS partners, the survey consent form (if applicable) for information on specific data processing will be provided by the ERA-CAREERS partners in question.

How do we collect data and what categories of personal data do we process?

We collect and process your data when you:

3.1 Future Systems Hub processes your personal data to provide you with the information, products, or services you request via the Website, email, telephone, Social Media Channels, or events. 3.2 Future Systems Hub processes your personal data to communicate with you after contact at trade fairs/events or through our Website, email, telephone, or Social Media Channels. 3.3 Future Systems Hub processes your personal data to perform statistical analyses to improve our Website, products, and services or develop new ones. 3.4 Future Systems Hub processes your personal data to comply with legal obligations or requests from competent authorities. Your personal data may also be transferred to law enforcement or judicial authorities if required by law or if there are suspicions of illegal activity. 3.5 Future Systems Hub may process your personal data to protect the legitimate interests of the ERA-CAREERS project, its partners, or third parties in cases of:

4.1 For processing your personal data for the purpose outlined in clause 3.1, we ask for your consent. 4.2 Although Future Systems Hub is registered in Serbia (a non-EU country), Serbian data protection law aligns with the GDPR and relevant EU data protection regulations. All processing adheres to Horizon Europe standards and applicable legislation. 4.3 The processing of your personal data for the purposes outlined in clauses 3.2, 3.3, and 3.6 is necessary for the legitimate interests of the ERA-CAREERS project, which include:

• Responding to your information requests.
• Facilitating communication with ERA-CAREERS partners.
• Enhancing our Website, Social Media Channels, and services.
• Ensuring security and compliance with legal requirements.
• Marketing and promotion of ERA-CAREERS’s offerings.

What are our quality assurances?

5.1 Future Systems Hub processes only the personal data necessary to achieve the purposes outlined above. 5.2 Data is securely stored on a password-protected server accessible only to authorized personnel. Personal data will be retained for up to 60 months after project completion unless legal or regulatory obligations require otherwise. 5.3 Future Systems Hub employs technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction. Access is restricted to a need-to-know basis and is subject to strict confidentiality obligations.

What are your rights?

6.1 You have the right to request access to your personal data processed by Future Systems Hub. An administrative fee may apply to excessive or repetitive requests. 6.2 You may request correction of inaccurate data, supported by proof of the inaccuracy. 6.3 You can withdraw your consent for processing your data as outlined in clause 4.4. 6.4 You can request deletion of your data if it is no longer required for outlined purposes or if you withdraw consent. Requests are subject to evaluation against overriding interests or legal obligations. 6.5 You can oppose data processing if justified by your specific circumstances or if processing is for direct marketing. 6.6 You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. 6.7 Submit data-related requests to info@eracareers-project.eu. Include specific details, proof of identity, and your signature. Future Systems Hub will respond within 30 days of a valid request.

Complaints

If you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you may file a complaint with Serbia’s Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection: Bulevar kralja Aleksandra 15, Belgrade, Serbia.
